meet new faculty and staff

Several new faculty and staff members have joined the Walla Walla College family. We'd like to introduce them to you so you can wish them a heartfelt welcome. A few new faculty and staff members are highlighted here, but check back as more are added.

Steve Porter
Wolfpack Auto Service Manager
Adjunct technology professor

The Wolfpack Auto Shop is in good hands with Steve Porter in charge. He was formerly employed at Beeline Auto Center in College Place, and graduated from Walla Walla College in 2000 with a major in automotive technology. His favorite activities are hiking, backpacking, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Jessica.

Steve also teaches automotive classes for the Technology Department. He says he wanted to work at WWC because it’s more than just a job; it gives him a purpose. He hopes to interact with the students, encouraging and leading them as they seek a Christ-centered education.
