Awesome God Tour Comes to the Inland Northwest
Christian recording artist Mark Schultz will Perform in Spokane, Kennewick, and Yakima
Christian recording artist and 14-time Dove Award nominee Mark Schultz will be joining the 2013 Awesome God Tour, which is coming to Spokane, Kennewick and Yakima. Adopted as a child, Schultz is known for his ability to touch hearts through the songs he writes and performs.
One song, “Haven’t Met You Yet,” was written for his then-unborn son. “I’ve never met my bloodline in this world. It’s not like I’ve got my biological mom or dad,” he recalls.
“When Ryan was born, I looked in his eyes,” Schultz says, “and my knees just buckled. He’s the first part of me that I’ve ever seen in someone else.”
The Awesome God Tour is sponsored each year by Positive Life Radio and Musicianaries International. As part of a yearly tradition, Positive Life Radio invites listeners to help raise money for rice for the people of Cambodia, and every year the Awesome God Tour passes through the Inland Northwest to present Christian music concerts and celebrate the results. Last year Positive Life Radio listeners donated more than $160,000.
“We’d like to invite everyone to come to the concert,” says Kevin Krueger, afternoon host, Positive Life Radio. “We’re grateful to everyone who is making a positive difference for others, one person at a time.”
