Ad Building Grand Opening Scheduled

celebrate with us during Homecoming Weekend

Walla Walla College will celebrate the grand opening of the college’s new Administration Building on Saturday, April 28.
The grand opening event will kick off at 5 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony honoring those instrumental in the development and construction process. Tours and refreshments will follow. The celebration is free and open to the public.
“The people of the Walla Walla Valley were instrumental in the construction of the original building in 1892. WWC, and this new building, would not be here without their efforts,” says President John McVay. “We hope the community will feel as much pride in this new era of WWC’s history as we do.”
The approximately 43,000 square foot building houses administrative offices as well as the academic departments of history, theology, and English. The style of the building closely resembles the original Administration Building. That structure, which originally housed all facets of the college, was razed in 2003.
