Kristen Taylor

Kristen Taylor, Dean of Women. I am working on my 9th year of deaning including 3 years as a head dean at the academy level and the last few years as an assistant and associate dean on the university level. I graduated from Walla Walla University with a B.A. in Speech Communication and minors in Drama and Religion. Most people laugh and say I majored in camp, which could be partly accurate since I worked at Camp Ida-Haven for over 10 summers. I am looking forward to utilizing my programming strengths to help build community in Foreman & Conard Halls.

Christie Lang

Christie Lang, BS, Associate Dean of Women. I am beginning my 4th year of Deaning. It is such a blessing to work with the young women who live in Foreman and Conard Halls. I enjoy talking with our residents and love when they come by my office just to say hi! I am looking forward to meeting all our new residents as well as welcoming back our continuing residents. My husband Kuyler and I have been married 2 years and have an energetic daughter, Charlotte. Our family also includes a dog, Yoda, and a cat, Elby. We enjoy card games and cooking together.

Heidi Indermuehle

Heidi Indermuehle, Associate Dean of Women. This is the beginning of my fourth year at Walla Walla University and my first year here in Foreman/Conard Halls as a dean. I love working with students and am so excited to be a team member. I will be the AGA Sponsor as well as working with the student employees at the front desk. I love to interact with students and I’m looking forward to helping the AGA officers plan events. I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 5 years and we have two K9 children, Tank & Beau. I am an AVID football fan and loyal to the Tennessee Titans although I support my husband’s Packers as well. I love to entertain family and friends, hike with my dogs, play games, play team sports, and snowboard.

Elizabeth Beddoe

Elizabeth Beddoe, Student Dean. I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to serve as Student Dean for the school year 2013-14. This will be my third year as a member of the Foreman and Conard Residence Hall team, having served as an RA and RAD over the past two years, respectively. I will be graduating Spring 2014 with a degree in Business Administration. With this I hope to pursue a career in Health Care Management. I enjoy music, travel, card games, and animals. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you this school year!

Audrey Wahlen

Audrey Wahlen, Student Dean. This is my first year as student dean, though I have previously been a RA at WWU and a taskforce Assistant Dean at Auburn Adventist Academy for my student mission’s year.  I am finishing my Bachelors of Social Work this year, and am looking forward to a great senior experience, especially my practicum.  I also have an A.S. in Adventure Based Counseling from Canadian University College.  I am looking forward to meeting all the residents and making their college experience fun!  I hope to have many chats with you all when I am in the office!

Louise Johnson

Louise Johnson, AAS, Administrative Assistant.

Experience in Administrative Assistant positions held in medical, construction, pharmaceutical, and educational environments.  My absolute favorite has been in the area of education because of the contact it affords me with the students.  If I can convey the joy and comfort of my favorite Bible verses--Romans 8:38-39—to the students I come in contact with and to those I work alongside, I will be content.  My husband, Bruce, and I moved to Walla Walla in May 2011.  For Bruce, it was returning home.  For me, it was a new location, which I have come to call home.  I am originally from Kalamazoo, MI, and spent nearly my entire life there.  We share our home and lives with 5 dogs and 3 cats, some of whom are senior citizens, sad to say.  We enjoy working in our yard and garden together and trying new restaurants.  I particularly enjoy planning, and working in, my flower gardens and cooking good homemade meals.
