Kristen Taylor

Kristen Taylor, Dean of Women. I am working on my 9th year of deaning including 3 years as a head dean at the academy level and the last few years as an assistant and associate dean on the university level. I graduated from Walla Walla University with a B.A. in Speech Communication and minors in Drama and Religion. Most people laugh and say I majored in camp, which could be partly accurate since I worked at Camp Ida-Haven for over 10 summers. I am looking forward to utilizing my programming strengths to help build community in Foreman & Conard Halls.

My husband Kuyler and I have been married 2 years and have an energetic daughter, Charlotte. Our family also includes a dog, Yoda, and a cat, Elby. We enjoy card games and cooking together.

Louise Johnson

Louise Johnson, AAS, Administrative Assistant.

Experience in Administrative Assistant positions held in medical, construction, pharmaceutical, and educational environments.  My absolute favorite has been in the area of education because of the contact it affords me with the students.  If I can convey the joy and comfort of my favorite Bible verses--Romans 8:38-39—to the students I come in contact with and to those I work alongside, I will be content.  My husband, Bruce, and I moved to Walla Walla in May 2011.  For Bruce, it was returning home.  For me, it was a new location, which I have come to call home.  I am originally from Kalamazoo, MI, and spent nearly my entire life there.  We share our home and lives with 5 dogs and 3 cats, some of whom are senior citizens, sad to say.  We enjoy working in our yard and garden together and trying new restaurants.  I particularly enjoy planning, and working in, my flower gardens and cooking good homemade meals.
