Mission Opportunities

In 1960, the first student missionary was sent from WWU. We have come from one missionary per year, to 70 - 100 student missionaries each year. The 48-year-old program has changed the lives of many. There are numerous opportunities each year for students to participate. Students return with pictures and stories of how God worked through them during their mission experience. They left to serve others and returned with far more given back to them.

We continue to assist prospective missionaries and encourage all to be open to some type of mission experience. Some feel called to be a missionary right here at home - often the greatest need.
