Student Missions

Mission Opportunities

Since the first student missionary was sent from WWU in 1960, the WWU Student Missions program has grown from one missionary per year to 70 - 116 student missionaries each year, and has changed the lives of many. Students return with pictures and stories of how God worked through them during their mission experience. They leave to serve others and when they return they feel they received more than they gave.

There are numerous opportunities each year for students to participate. We continue to assist prospective missionaries and encourage all to be open to some type of mission experience. Some feel called to be a missionary right here at home, where there is always a need  and often it is more difficult.
