Paddy McCoy

Title: Campus Chaplain

Pastor Paddy is an alum of WWU and enjoys the opportunity to serve God in a place where He met Jesus on a personal level for the first time. After graduating from WWU with a BA in Religion and Speech Communication, Pastor Paddy went to work for Kettering College of Medical Arts in Ohio, where he served mostly as the Campus Chaplain. During his time in Ohio, he also began working on an MA in Youth Ministry at the Andrews Theological Seminary in Berrien Springs, MI.

In 2003, Paddy returned to WWU to serve as the Director for Village Life, a job he enjoyed for five years before being asked to serve as the Campus Chaplain. In his new role, he loves the opportunity to care for the spiritual needs of the campus, teaming up with and growing students into leaders, and watching young adults own their faith so that they may feel called to go from this campus and change the world.

Paddy has a wife, Tricia McCoy (MSW), of 10 years and a son, Ayden, and daughter Allayna. Not to mention the rest of the McCoy Clan, which includes two cats and two Golden Retrievers. His hobbies include talking, shooting Nerf darts at students, and impersonating professors.
