WWU vs. Northwest Christian, Sunday, September 4, 2011

EUGENE, Ore. - Leaving their previous win behind the Wolves set out to play Northwest Christian on Sunday Sept. 4. In search for what could be their second win of the season. Unfortunately coming short as in the end they lost 3-1.

The match started on the right foot for the Wolves as in the 10th minute Kevin Nateras found the back of the net assisted by Jonathan Martinez giving the Wolves the lead 1-0 Vs. Northwest. It wasn’t long before the equalizer came in the shape of a long parabolic shot to the net catching the Wolves goalie off guard to tie the game 1-1. Ending the first half tied at one. It was in the second half in the 55th minute that Northwest scored, off a set play by knocking a header to the back of the net giving them the lead. It was in the 80th minute that the final blow was given making the maker 3-1. It was a hard loss for the Wolves as they will try to bounce back and play South Puget Sound Community College on Monday Sept. 5. As they look for their second win of the season.
