Wolves Prove They Got What It Takes

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Friday September 2nd was the scheduled date for Walla Walla Wolves soccer team season opener against Simpson University. A time when expectations are high, and goals are set for the upcoming season amongst the men. One of the goals being to start off on the right foot by winning the first game of the season, which hasn’t happened for the Wolves in some time now.

The game proved to be challenging as Simpson University pulled ahead in the 8th minute when striker Luis Perez scored assisted by Simpson captain Michael Guzman giving Simpson the lead 1-0. It wasn’t long before the Wolves found the back of the net to tie things up thanks to Isaac Lopez scoring from a pass by Jonathan Martinez.  It was then were the Wolves took off and scored 3 more times by Alex Lemah, Jonathan Martinez and Daniel Colls. It was an exciting match as the Wolves held the lead and bested Simpson University 4-2 giving the Wolves a great start to their season.
