Federal Stafford Student Loans

If you are eligible to apply, you will receive a Master Promissory note from Student Financial Services and may borrow a total of $18,500 per year.  Up to $8500 of your total Stafford Loan may be subsidized, meaning the government will pay the interest while you are in school.  You are responsible for the interest on the unsubsidized portion of your loan and may either make payments on the interest while you are in school or have the interest added to the principal.
