Walla Walla University practices a selective admissions policy. To be considered for admission to the university, students should demonstrate scholastic achievement, good character and financial viability.


Complete the following steps to apply:

  1. Fill out the online Application. 
    US Application            International Application
  2. Mail a $40 application fee to the address below or follow the directions at the end of the online application to pay online.Returning students that are applying are exempt from this fee.
  3. Obtain one reference from an individual who knows your academic qualities and is not related to you.
    • You may print a pdf referene form or ask your reference to submit an online reference here. No reference is required for returning students.
    • A reference is not required of North Pacific Union Conference academy graduates.
  4. Print pdf transcript release request forms, complete and send them to each high school and/or college you have attended.
  5. International students must send TOEFL scores, in addition to a USD $6000 international student deposit. Proof of funding for one academic year must be provided before an I-20 Visa form can be issued be Walla Walla University.
  6. Application should be made at least three months prior to the quarter in which study is to begin. To qualify for preregistration for fall quarter, application files must be completed by August.
