Campus Security is hiring Student Patrol Officers. CONTENT DESIGNER/MANAGER

CUSTODIAL

Campus Custodial is hiring a custodial crew member. Duties performed will be general cleaning and janitorial in nature including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, filling dispensers, cleaning drinking fountains, showers, kitchenettes, labs, and restrooms, taking out trash. Responsible for performing major carpet and hard surface floor cleaning in campus buildings. Duties include: mop, strip, scrub, buff, and apply floor sealer/finish to hard floors. Position is Part-time when classes are in session typically working every Sunday; Full-time during breaks and summer. COMPANION CAREGIVER

We are looking for someone to be a companion caregiver for my mother in her assisted living situation at Wheatland Village in Walla Walla. She has Parkinson’s and is wheelchair bound right now but mentally acute. There is no medical training required and very little hands-on work involved. We just need someone with her when we cannot be there to make sure she does not fall. Wheatland has plenty of staff to assist with any further needs she may need, we just need someone there to help in case she forgets she can no longer walk around. We are looking for a few hours each day and potentially up to 8 hours per day. You may bring things to read or study, as you are not required to entertain her the entire time. The assisted living center requires that you have a background check and are fingerprinted, which they handle and pay for. You must be friendly and considerate and willing to chat with her or help her find assistance when she needs it.
