ACADEMIC PC TECH

The WWU Information Technology department is looking for an academic PC Tech to provide computer support for the Academic departments: Art to Theology. Applicants must be attending WWU for at least 2 more years. They also must have people skills: the ability to get along with faculty, clients, and the IT office staff and computer skills: setup new computers, diagnose software and hardware problems. Campus Custodial is hiring a custodial crew member. FLOOR CREW MEMBER

The Custodial Department is looking for full-time floor crew members. Crew member would be responsible for performing major carpet and hard surface floor cleaning in campus buildings. Duties include: mop, strip, scrub, buff, and apply floor sealer/finish to hard floors. Vacuum, spot clean, and extraction cleaning for carpets. Floor care experience is preferred but not required. FLOWER BED CREW

Essential duties include planting flowers and plants, trimming, pruning, and weeding. May operate small equipment and use many small hand tools to accomplish tasks. Work is performed outdoors in all types of weather. 40 hours per week in the summer and 10-20 hours per week during the school year. WWU Approved Driver beneficial but not required. KIDNASTICS

The HPE Department is looking for a Kidnastics Instructor to teach kids 3-14 years old gymnastics skills on floor, beam, uneven bars, vault and tumble track. Will be in charge of own class of students 5-7 per class. Must have some gymnastics skills, need to be able to teach between the hours of 3pm and 7pm Mon-Thurs. Duties include the use of push lawn mowers, leaf blower, weed whacker, and lawn edger to detail campus grounds. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more. SOUND SYSTEM TECHNICIAN

The Institutional Support department is looking for a sound system technician. A sound system technician is a member of a 10 person crew which runs sound for Vespers, Community, and Week of Worships. Technicians run the main Front of House sound board, our recording sound board, as well as a light board, and assisting as an occasional stage hand. Technicians must have previous experience running sound systems and understand the basic live mixing. Work takes place Friday afternoons, Tuesday during community, and an occasional Sunday night practice. Technicians are on a rotation to allow for weeks off. Students interested in this position must enjoy helping behind the scenes with programs and running sound. Position would start September 29.
