FISHERY OBSERVER
Alaskan Observers, Inc. is looking for an at-sea biologist to live and work aboard commercial fishing vessels, sampling catches to identifying fish species, making estimates of total catch, and collecting age structures and biological data from target species. Following a paid 3-week training in either Anchorage or Seattle, you will make 2 deployments over 6-8 months, with each deployment lasting 2 1/2 months. Compensation is $4017.90-$6654/month DOE, plus room, board, and travel. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in fisheries biology, marine biology, general biology, zoology, or a related natural science.
