CAMPUS SECURITY

Campus Security is hiring Student Patrol Officers. Must be able to work 8-12 hours per week and possibly work late night shifts between midnight and 8 am, be physically able to walk the campus, negotiate stairs, know the buildings on campus, be alert, be able to work alone and with other people, and pay attention to detail. Must have, or be able to get, CPR and First Aid Certification and have a valid driver’s license. Applicants must be 18 years old or older. COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

CUSTODIAL

Campus Custodial is hiring a custodial crew member. Duties performed will be general cleaning and janitorial in nature including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, filling dispensers, cleaning drinking fountains, showers, kitchenettes, labs, and restrooms, taking out trash. May lift up to 50 pounds. Work is performed in doors. Hours are flexible, with 10-20 hrs/wk when school is in session. GROUNDS - SNOW CREW

The Grounds department has immediate openings for snow crew members to help clear snow away from buildings and stairs, and to do ice control. This is an on call position for work during winter weather events. What you can expect is to be notified the evening before, and a follow up phone call the following morning at 4:30 am; and to come in for work at 5:00 am. You should be done by 8:00 am or earlier if you have a class. Hours later in the day are possible where individual schedules permit. Must be able to navigate the slippery stairs and slopes on campus and lift up to 50lbs. If interested, inquire at the Custodial & Grounds Department.

KIDNASTICS

The HPE Department is looking for a Kidnastics Instructor to teach kids 3-14 years old gymnastics skills on floor, beam, uneven bars, vault and tumble track. Will be in charge of own class of students 5-7 per class. Must have some gymnastics skills, need to be able to teach between the hours of 3pm and 7pm Mon-Thurs. MEDIA SERVICES

Media Services is looking for several individuals to help produce campus live stream events. Events include volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, selected vespers, select musical performances, and other events as assigned. Individuals would be responsible for setting up, operating, and taking down video cameras, switchers and computers used in the production of assigned events. Attention to detail, familiarity with electronic gear, punctuality and dependability are important to this position. Events are sporadic and hours are not guaranteed. Employees need to be self starters and have the ability to work independently with fellow students to get projects completed. SOUND SYSTEM TECHNICIAN

The Institutional Support department is looking for a sound system technician. A sound system technician is a member of a 10 person crew which runs sound for Vespers, Community, and Week of Worships. Technicians run the main Front of House sound board, our recording sound board, as well as a light board, and assisting as an occasional stage hand. Technicians must have previous experience running sound systems and understand the basic live mixing. Work takes place Friday afternoons, Tuesday during community, and an occasional Sunday night practice. Technicians are on a rotation to allow for weeks off. Students interested in this position must enjoy helping behind the scenes with programs and running sound. Position would start September 29.
