Dear Alumni and Friends of Walla Walla College,
We invite you to pause for a moment and take stock of your life.

What brings you the most satisfaction?
Where do you find the greatest joy?
In a moment of crisis, what is the source of your strength?

For those of us who had the privilege of attending WWC, the experiences of those years provided the foundation for much that is meaningful in our lives today.
While at Walla Walla we were grounded in intellectual honesty. We learned skills that have yielded important, satisfying careers. We forged a personal, abiding faith. And, we formed friendships that thrive decades after we’ve left campus.
Even people who did not attend WWC benefit from her graduates. Countless businesses have drawn from a pool of well-educated candidates with a commitment to the highest level of ethics. Hospitals from Afghanistan to Zambia rely on physicians and nurses who completed undergraduate work at Walla Walla. Engineers have flooded into the marketplace to help humanity with vision, as well as expertise. And, classrooms worldwide have come alive with the joy of learning inspired by teachers who graduated from Walla Walla.
This is a thrilling and valuable heritage.
And now WWC needs our help to continue providing life-changing education for students of tomorrow.
Simply put, parts of the campus, while well-maintained and picturesque, have gotten old and worn and must be replaced or updated. If the school is to be positioned for the future, these needs must be addressed. To make necessary improvements the college is launching an $18 million campaign to build a much-needed Administration Building and to revitalize several other areas of the campus.
This campaign, the most ambitious endeavor of its kind in the history of our school, will make it possible for WWC to continue to light fires of learning, service and excellence in the hearts and minds of students for years to come.
We are honored to participate in this campaign. And, we encourage you to reflect on how WWC has made a difference for you and for our world. We invite you to join us in generously supporting the revitalization of the school that we all love so much.

Warmly Yours and His,

Dan and Betsy Matthews
