Summer Bonus Program

Walla Walla University offers a SUMMER BONUS to all full-time student workers who are employed by Walla Walla University and sign a Summer Bonus Agreement by July 1, 2013. 

Students who work a minimum of 460 hours during the summer (beginning the Monday after graduation and ending the Friday prior to fall quarter registration) and who are registered for at least 12 credit hours of classes at the end of the 10th day of classes fall quarter will receive a refund of 40% of dormitory room rent charged for the summer, excluding single room charges, or a refund of 40% of university housing rent charged for the summer, not to exceed 40% of the cost of living in the dormitory.  All students who reside and work on campus during the summer are required to sign either a Summer Worker Agreement or a Summer Bonus Agreement by July 1, 2013, authorizing 60 percent of their earnings to be transferred directly into their student account to cover summer dormitory or university housing rent, cafeteria, tuition, and other charges as they occur.  If charges exceed 60 percent of their earnings, students are responsible for paying their account promptly when billed.

A student may not participate in both the Summer Bonus and Summer Advantage program at the same time.

Paper forms are available at the Student Employment Office, CTC 307 or an online form is also available. If a student is working for more than one department, he/sh must complete the paper form in order to obtain required employer signatures.
