WWU Archaeology Program

Springtime Lamp

Welcome to Walla Walla University's Archaeology Program! WWU plays a significant role in biblical archaeology and is becoming known for its contributions to the field, especially through the Madaba Plains Project-'Umayri, of which it is a consortium member. In addition, hundreds of the artifcacts discovered by MPP-'Umaryi are housed on our campus, many being restored in the Archaeology Lab in Bowers Hall.

We are also proud to announce that some of our artifacts were recently on exhibit at the Western Center for Archaeology & Paleontology in Hemet, CA over the last few months.
