Online & Hybrid Courses

Students taking online or hybrid courses must have basic computer competency, including use of e-mail and regular Internet access. Information on minimum computer hardware requirements is available at the Equipment link on the distance learning website.

The regular tuition rate applies for all online and hybrid courses. In 2012 undergraduate tuition is $618 per quarter hour; graduate tuition is $535 per quarter hour. Online courses begin on June 18 and end on August 10 unless otherwise indicated. Enrollment minimums and maximums apply.

Online Registration

Students may register for online courses as indicated below:

  • Currently enrolled Walla Walla University students register in the usual way through myWWU and arrange financial clearance by June 18.
  • Summer Advantage students register through the Academic Advisement Office (phone 800-558-2132) and arrange financial clearance by June 18.
  • North Pacific Union Conference (NPUC) K-12 teachers register online for all courses, including online courses, via the registration link at Information for K-12 Educators.
  • Guest students taking courses for transfer to other institutions (not seeking a degree at Walla Walla University) register by completing a registration form and credit card information online at the distance learning website.

Financial clearance is required for all students. Students who register for classes but do not obtain financial clearance by June 18 will be automatically dropped from all summer courses.
