Reference Services


Walla Walla University Library offers reference services to current students, faculty, and staff of Walla Walla University. The Reference Librarian can help advise you in finding topics for papers, research information, and hard to find articles. Librarians are available during most of the library’s open hours, and reference questions may also be submitted via e-mail or phone.

Reference Hours
The reference desk is located in the lobby of Peterson Memorial Library. A librarian should always be available for face-to-face reference interviews at the following times:

Monday - Thursday:8:30 AM - 6:00 PM; 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Friday:8:30 AM - Noon; 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
Sunday:10:00 AM - 11:00 PM

You will generally find a librarian either at the reference desk, or you may ask for a librarian at the circulation desk. You may ask a question at the reference desk at any time, or schedule a special appointment with a librarian for more in-depth assistance.

The Portland campus typically has a librarian available 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Thursday and 8:00 am – 3:00 pm on Friday.
