Retelling the `Umayri story requires the generosity of many. Our
labor force is partially funded by Department of Antiquities of Jordan.
Funds are raised by MPP-U, as well as contributed by foundations and other generous donors.
Cost Estimates for the Many Stages of the Project Include:
- 7,000 JD* / $10,000 for labor and materials for initial consolidation COMPLETED
- 1,360 JD / $1950 for final work on four-room house restoration COMPLETED
- 450 JD / $650 for stone wall consolidation COMPLETED
- 4,000 JD / $5,700 for labor and materials for viewing platform on tall UNDER-WAY & PAID FOR
- 5,000 JD / $7,200 for interpretive signage for tall, replica building and viewing platforms
- 4,000 JD / $5,700 for western viewing platform
- 15,000 JD / $21,500 for replica four-room house (visitor center)
- 12,000 JD / $17,200 for video production and viewing equipment
- 10,000 JD / $14,300 for stone/bush boundary/border around the tall
- 4,000 JD / $5,700 for guard house
- 8,000 JD / $11,500 for driveways and parking lot
