Rosario has facilities to comfortably sleep approximately 50 NAEC participants. Other participants can choose from a plethora of inns, hotels, and motels in the nearby cities of Oak Harbor and Anacortes (each a 15-20 minute drive from Rosario). Meals will be provided at Rosario, or you can choose to eat elsewhere.


Lodging at Rosario
Most lodging at Rosario will be shared. Lodging costs include bedding and towel. If you wish to have private lodging, please see "Lodging Elsewhere" below.

            - Professor Housing costs $55 per night. Participants requesting professor
               housing will stay in the newer and larger cabins. Each has at least two
               bedrooms (one person per bedroom) and a single restroom/shower. Some of
               these cabins can comfortably house two people, others can house four. Anyone
               can stay in professor housing; it is not limited to professors but instead denotes
               newer or larger cabins.

            - Student Housing costs $35 per night. Student housing is less expensive
               because the facilities are older, smaller, and more crowded. Students can stay
               in the seven-room dormitory (one person per room, shared restroom/shower
               facilities) or in one of several cabins (three or four people per cabin, one
               restroom/shower). Anyone can stay in student housing; it is not limited to
               students but instead denotes older or smaller cabins.

            - Family Housing can be arranged as well, likely in space designated as
               professor housing. Please contact Jim Nestler (jim.nestler[at]wallawalla.edu) to
               make arrangements.

Lodging at Rosario will be available until housing facilities are full. Participants who register early will have a greater probability of obtaining their choice of lodging.


Lodging Elsewhere
Oak Harbor and Anacortes have many lodging options within a 15-20 minute drive from Rosario. Lodging in Oak Harbor tends to be more financially reasonable.

Meals at Rosario
Meals at Rosario will be served in the cafeteria in Lindgren Hall. If you have special dietary needs (i.e. vegetarian, vegan, allergen-free), please let us know prior to the conference and we will be happy to accommodate you. Costs at Rosario will be $21 per day.
