Three-Day Event Sponsored by Win A City Ministries and Campus Ministries
Tuesday, Feb. 25, marks the beginning of "Ancient Words," a 72-hour Bible reading marathon hosted by Win A City Ministries and Campus Ministries at the Prayer House on 4th Street.

The reading begins at 7 p.m. and ends 72 hours later at 8 p.m. at the University Church, when the final two Bible chapters will be read in front of the congregation for Vespers.
The reading is divided into one-hour segments with 72 volunteers taking turns reading the Bible aloud in the Prayer House Living Room. Volunteers are still needed to participate in the reading.
If you would like to be a reader, please sign up via the link below:
You can also come sign up at the Prayer House after 7 p.m. Tuesday night as well.
A special Bible has been chosen for this event to commemorate the importance of the Holy Scriptures in daily life. Each reader will sign and date the portion that he or she reads during the marathon. A special journal will also be available for the readers to write and reflect on their experience. These two books will be available in the Prayer House for viewing after the marathon.
Everyone is welcome to come and listen to the Bible reading anytime during the 72-hour period. The Vespers program at 8 p.m. will conclude the end of the Ancient Words marathon, when the last two chapters of Revelation are read in front of the entire congregation.
