Studying Technology at Walla Walla University will teach you to effectively utilize the most current knowledge and skills necessary to perform at the top of your technical field. The goal of the WWU Department of Technology is to educate and train students to enter the profession of their choice. The diverse curriculum allows you to focus on your specific area of interest while receiving a broad overview in other areas of technology and general studies. Specific major areas of study include automotive service, automotive management, aviation technology, aviation management, graphic design, industrial design and new media imaging. Photography and web design are also offered as minors. In each of these areas, “real-world” and “hands-on” experience is highly emphasized. In fact, each area also offers you the opportunity to work part time within your field of study in our department. Additionally, design majors can also choose to work for the Collegian, Gadfly or Mountain Ash, WWU publications. Whatever your interest, the Department of Technology will give you the skills needed to excel in a competitive work environment.
