It's our planet. How shall we care for it?

The interdisciplinary Natural Resources Conservation and Management program at Walla Walla University seeks to develop an appreciation of the physical world and human impact upon it. Graduates will demonstrate both understanding and techniques of caring for components of our biosphere in the context of the societies in which we live and actively contribute to a more sustainable, livable world through research and planning.

Walla Walla University joins the global push for environmental responsibility within the Seventh-day Adventist educational system by offering majors in both environmental science and environmental studies. Students gain problem-solving skills and a well-rounded understanding of the problems facing our environment. These degrees provide students with a broad educational experience that easily translates into career opportunities or graduate studies.
