 Lindgren Young Historian Award ($2,000)

Awarded yearly to a sophomore history major who has successfully completed HIST297: Historiography

 Lindgren Junior Summer-Term Awards (two awards yearly of $3,500 each)

Available to outstanding history juniors for study on a major university campus in the US or Europe.

 Lindgren Scholar Award ($5,000 to $10,000)

Awarded to the outstanding graduate in history who wants to pursue graduate study.

 Departmental Merit Awards ($500 to $1,000)

The department offers several Merit awards each year.
