Walla Walla University invites the public to attend the 2011 Senior Showcase basketball games on Saturday, April 2. Represented northwest schools include Walla Walla Valley Academy, Portland Adventist Academy, Columbia Adventist Academy, and Gem State Adventist Academy.
“These athletes have had outstanding high school careers,” says Tim Windemuth, athletics director at WWU. “Many of them have gone to state playoffs and gone deep into the bracket. These games should be great to watch and we are looking forward to some excellent play.”
All guest coaches for this event are WWU alumni and have played at the college level.
The women’s game starts at 8 p.m.; the men’s game starts at 9:30 p.m. General admission is $5; families are $12 and couples are $8. Those with WWU ID cards are admitted for free.
