  • The 99th Percentile:  For the third year in a row, the average score of the CS graduates on the MFAT exam placed the department in the 99th percentile of schools using the MFAT exam to evaluate the performance of their graduates.

  • The CS Club meets every other week during the quarter and each fall the CS Club takes a trip to Comdex in Las Vegas.
  • Every quarter, on the weekend following midterms, the CS Club holds its GameFest. Admission is free to CS Club members, and involves intense network and modem game playing, snacks, and prizes.
  • Every year at Christmas, the CS Dept. holds a party for CS Majors.

Results

  • Jobs - 100% placement record: Graduates of the program are employed in excellent positions with major companies such as Boeing, Emerald Solutions, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Lucent Technologies, Microsoft, and Westwood Studios. Starting salaries for our graduates are above the national average. Recent job offers for WWC CS graduates have ranged from $47,000 to $137,000.
  • Careers: Computer science also makes a great choice for for pre law and pre-meds.
