Communications majors are required to attend four colloquia events as a part of their major requirement. Colloquia are intended to connect you with working professionals, issues and ideas in your area of future employment. To complete the colloquium requirement, follow these steps:
- Attend a colloquium event. Check this website for department-approved options or check with your advisor about other professional-growth opportunities you may encounter. Other departments and schools often have excellent programs that relate to your professional interests.
- Submit the colloquium report form describing the colloquium event and responding to/interacting with the information presented. Submit your report within 48 hours of the event.
