Brief Description of Degrees

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Provides strong business and technical content. Designed for the job market upon graduation but also meets prerequisites for most one-year MBA programs. Requires a concentration in a business area, which is usually related to the area of career interest. Concentrations include accounting, finance, health & senior care management, international business, management, marketing, and small business/entrepreneurship.


Bachelor of Science, Major in Business Administration (BSBA)

Designed for students requiring more electives and greater flexibility than is allowed in the BBA degree.  Particularly ideal for students pursuing graduate programs in law, dentistry, medicine or business.


Bachelor of Arts, Major in Business Administration (BA)

Broadly-based and flexible, including a minor in a non-business area.  Since several quarters of a foreign language are required, this degree works well for those students desiring a minor or second major in modern languages and/or who want to study abroad.  Ideal for students seeking pre-graduate studies as well as any student wanting a broadly-based undergraduate degree.


Bachelor of Science, Major in Information Systems (BSIS)

This degree, which is jointly offered by the School of Business and Computer Science Department, is designed for students who want to use information technology to make business organizations more effective and efficient.  Along with the information systems content, having a business background is essential to those who desire to develop and maintain business systems, databases and networks.


Bachelor of Science, Major in Automotive Management

This degree is jointly offered by the School of Business and Technology Department.  It is designed for students who want a career in automotive service management.  On top of the technical automotive content, the program also covers how to manage personnel, customer relationships, and the finances of the business.


Bachelor of Science, Major in Aviation Management

This degree is jointly offered by the School of Business and Technology Department.  It is designed for students who want to work in aviation management.  On top of the technical aviation content, the program also covers the business content needed to become a well-rounded aviation management professional.
