Kenneth Crawford

Ken Crawford joined the Walla Walla University Board of Trustees in 2004 when he became the Alaska Conference President.

Crawford began his ministry 26 years ago with his wife, Colleen, as volunteer Task Force workers in Savoonga on St. Lawrence Island, Alaska. In 1981, Ken became the first pastor in Kodiak, Alaska.

For 9 years, starting in 1995, Crawford was the senior pastor of the Meadow Glade Church in southern Washington. Under his leadership, the church attendance quadrupled and the average age dropped from 56 to 28 years old.

An author, pilot, and leadership consultant, Crawford holds a bachelor’s degree in theology, and a master’s degree in marriage and family counseling.

Crawford has two major passions: To lead people to the next level in deeper spirituality, and to carry the light of the gospel to the Arctic regions of the Alaska Conference.

The Crawfords have two children, David and Heather, both born in Alaska.
