John Freedman

John Freedman was named to the Walla Walla University Board of Trustees in August 2002 when he was elected president of the Washington Conference. His pastoral ministry began in New Jersey and continued in Colorado and California before the Freedmans moved to Washington State in 1998.

Freedman earned his master's degree in accounting/management from Ruteers University in 1978, and his master of divinity degree in 1981 from Andrews University Theological Seminary.

If you talk about Jesus Christ, leadership, water sports or Toyota vehicles, you're sure to catch Freedman's attention. His first passion, though, is sharing Jesus and encouraging others in their walk with the Lord.

He and Malinda have three adults sons, Jonathan, Jesse, and Jared.
