Innovation: ZIPLEVEL PRO-2000

Many construction professionals throughout the world owe a debt of gratitude to Dennis Vories, creator of the ZIPLEVEL PRO-2000. Replacing conventional
rotary lasers, the ZIPLEVEL is a precision altimeter that levels and reads elevations in digits over unlimited ranges without math, line-of-sight, distance error, or factory calibration. Originally called the COMPULEVEL, Vories took his patented idea to Stanley Works in New Britain, Conn., which agreed to fund his development of the project. Five years later, the product acquired three additional patents, a number of innovation awards, and debuted on the market.
