Giving to benefit both you and WWU
Gifts-in-kind are non-cash gifts that provide the satisfaction of supporting an area of your interest and in some cases, provide you with tax benefits that can actually increase after-tax income.
Most gifts-in-kind will be counted at full market value. Gifts of equipment, including but not limited to, computers, software, and laboratory and technical equipment will be counted at the educational discount value.
Please contact the Office of University Advancement to discuss your intention to provide a gift-in-kind. (Prior to acceptance, a gift-in-kind is reviewed to see if it fits the educational mission of the college and does not require special maintenance or other conditions that the school may be unable to satisfy.)
