Capital Gifts

Improving the Campus and Securing the Future

Ever since Nelson G. Blalock donated the first capital gift of 40 acres of land for Walla Walla University, the school has benefited from the generosity of its supporters.

Capital gifts support building renovation and construction and also increase the university's endowment. These gifts create a campus that supports education in the 21st century.

Capital gifts secure the university's long-term future by building the endowment, currently the endowment totals $16 million. This fund provides tuition assistance and operating revenue.

With the help of alumni, friends, foundations and corporate gifts Walla Walla University is concluding an $18 million Faith in the Vision Campaign: The Campaign for Walla Walla University to renew areas of the campus. More information is available on the website Faith in the Vision Campaign and at the Administration Building Construction site.

Other current capital projects include:

  • Student Scholarships
  • Nursing Expansion in Portland
  • Campus Centerpiece Sculpture Project
