Annual Gifts
Making Education Possible
Tuition alone does not cover the cost of a Walla Walla University education. Annual gifts help bridge the gap. These gifts are directed to Walla Walla University's Annual Fund. The Annual Fund:
- Is an unrestricted gift, meaning it will be directed where needs are the greatest
- Provides financial aid to students who need help with tuition
Two of the university's fundraising programs benefit the Annual Fund.
Class Agent Program
Each spring a class representative from each graduating class contacts fellow classmates by letter requesting their classmates' support of the Annual Fund. Last year over $100,000 was raise for the Annual Fund.
Phonathon
Each fall, students call alumni and friends to ask for their support of the Annual Fund Phonathon. Last year, more than $200,000 was raised, helping almost 100 students. While some donors choose to support other projects, most of the funds raised go to the Annual Fund.
