WWU Presents Senior Recognition
February 7 Event Will Be Livestreamed
Senior class president Greg Hannah-Jones and his classmates were honored at Senior Recognition in 2011.
Walla Walla University will honor its graduating seniors during Senior Recognition, a special CommUnity program to be held Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m. in the University Church.
The senior class has chosen Greg Dodds, professor of history, as the speaker for the event. His presentation is titled “Sapere Aude!” The biblical reference text for Dodd's presentation is Proverbs 2:1-6 ESV.
Students, faculty and staff look forward to this event each year. The event offers WWU an opportunity to applaud and honor the achievements of its graduating seniors before June commencement.
Seniors may pick up their caps and gowns for the event on Monday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University Bookstore.
